Regional Cuisine at the Finkenbergerhof
Stefan has been cooking since childhood. His father ran Café Michl and later the Finkenbergerhof, and Stefan and his siblings helped out early on with peeling potatoes and apples.
Today, Stefan cooks daily for his guests: with fresh ingredients from the Ziller Valley, with respect for the product, and with genuine joy in his craft.

The Indulgent Breakfast
Fresh bread rolls from Josef Eberharter in Mayrhofen and the Stock village bakery in Lanersbach, organic hay milk yogurt from the Mayrhofen Dairy Experience, and sausage and cheese from regional suppliers in the Ziller Valley.
And at the heart of it all is Stefan, personally at the stove every morning: egg dishes prepared to your liking, of course freshly made.
From spring to autumn, we also serve breakfast on our sun terrace. The view overlooks the Grünberg and the entire Ziller Valley mountain range. A better start to the day is hard to imagine.

Tyrolean cuisine, fresh ideas daily
Stefan cooks every evening with regional ingredients from the Zillertal. Jus, stocks, and pasta are made in-house at Finkenbergerhof.
The result: a 3- to 4-course dinner menu that changes daily and brings the season to your plate.

From the Zillertal to your plate
Stefan has been working with the same suppliers from the Zillertal for years. The bread is delivered fresh daily by Josef Eberharter from Mayrhofen and the Stock village bakery from Lanersbach. The organic hay milk yogurt comes from the Erlebnis-Sennerei Mayrhofen. Sausages and cheese are sourced from regional producers whom Stefan knows personally and trusts.
He prepares as much as possible of what comes to the table himself: jus, stocks, pasta, and desserts are made fresh daily in the Finkenbergerhof kitchen. No convenience products, no long transport routes. Just what the Zillertal currently has to offer.

Changing dinner menu
The 3- to 4-course menu changes daily and is based on the season and what is freshly delivered. For the main course, you have a choice of two dishes, and vegetarian options are, of course, available. If you have any food intolerances, please let us know, and Stefan and his team will be happy to accommodate you.
