Suspension bridge at Olpererhütte
One of Tyrol's most famous photo opportunities is just under an hour's drive from us.
At an altitude of 2,389 meters, the small suspension bridge stretches above the Olpererhütte over a mountain stream, with the turquoise-blue Schlegeis reservoir glowing in the background.
From the reservoir car park, it's about a two-hour hike and almost 600 meters in elevation gain to the hut. If you want to take beautiful photos, it's best to go in the late afternoon when the sun is at your back and most day visitors have already returned to the valley.
