Finkenbergerhof is an official partner of the Zillertal Alps Nature Park. From May to October, guests can participate in over 200 guided hikes and family excursions free of charge. Just join in.
Additionally, the guest card is included for all hotel guests. With it, you can ride the hiking bus for free, which traverses the entire valley from Hintertux to Mayrhofen. The Finkenberg outdoor pool is also free for guests. And for those who want to explore further: the summer pool in Hippach is also worth a visit.

With the guest card, visitors ride the hiking bus throughout the valley for free and can participate in many guided hikes at no cost. The Zillertal Activcard also grants free entry to various swimming pools, such as the Finkenberg outdoor pool. The summer pool in Hippach is also worthwhile for a day trip with this advantage card.

up to the Mountain
In the Zillertal, there are playgrounds that aren't always easy to find. Some are right in the village, others only after a cable car ride. If you want to bridge a rainy day, you'll find the Playarena in Vorderlanersbach, a 1,200 m² indoor play facility. If you prefer to be outdoors, take the Finkenberger Almbahn up to Pepi's Kinderland at Penken. Right next to the Finkenberg outdoor swimming pool, there's also another playground, perfect for an afternoon of swimming and playing.

An eight-meter-tall wooden bear that you can explore from the inside. Climbing frames, slides, a trampoline, and a low ropes course. Pepi's Kinderland at Penkenjoch can be easily reached with the Finkenberger Almbahn.

Fichtenschloss on the Rosenalm
High above Zell am Ziller: four accessible wooden towers, a treetop walk, a sand play area, and a mountain lake for swimming at 1,700 meters. In summer 2026, there will also be a children's festival every Wednesday from mid-July to mid-August at the castle square.

The ALMSPIELEREI on the Eggalm is located directly above Tux, ideal for the youngest children. Stefan particularly recommends the Spieljoch near Fügen for older children. Mountain air and genuine fun for kids are guaranteed at both destinations.
