Zillertal Alps Nature Park
The 422 km² nature reserve of the Zillertal Nature Park is simply breathtaking. This is where you can find several 3,000 m high peaks, diverse flora and fauna, and pristine nature. On a guided hike, you can learn more about the land and the people.

As a quality-certified partner business of the nature park, we offer our guests a wonderful program - including over 200 free guided hikes, exhibits, wildlife observations, and of course family offers from May to October.
Biking in the Zillertal
There are an abundance of interesting and challenging mountain bike routes, but leisurely cyclists will also get their money's worth here. Along the flat valley floor, you can explore the Zillertal. Over 80 km of developed bike routes invite you to experience the mountain panorama of the Zillertal with its fifty-five 3,000 m high summits.
Among the most beautiful routes are the panorama tours on the Penken - here, you can enjoy unbelievable views while the lift comfortably takes you up to the start of the tour. The routes on the Penken can also be extended down into the valley!
E-bike rental at the hotel
E-biking is cycling for those who like to take it easy. You don't have to work up a sweat, because the electric bike supports the natural pedaling movement and makes steep climbs easier. For a fee, you can rent e-bikes at Hotel Finkenbergerhof, and even inexperienced bikers can go on long tours.
Climbing & via ferrata in the Zillertal
Climbing higher and higher. This mountain sport has always accounted for a large part of the fascination with the Alps. Now, you can master this challenge yourself and put your skills and endurance to the test!
The reward is not only reaching your goal but also the brilliant view on the mountain. The nearest climbing opportunity is offered by the Zimmereben, Huterlaner, and Pfeilspitzwand via ferrata routes in neighboring Mayrhofen. Another highlight is the Alpine via ferrata right on the Gerlossteinwand.
